About S.S. Steel Fabricators, Inc.
S.S. Steel Fabricators, Inc. was founded in 1983 by George Smith Sr. and Sharon Smith. Even though the company grew through the 1980's and 1990's, we still maintain a "family owned" business environment. We like the family atmosphere this provides; everyone is close and considered family. We are able to provide a certain experience for the client as well, offering close communication throughout a given project.
George Smith Jr. took over operations in the mid 2000's and helped to "modernize" our systems and take SS Steel to the next level, all while establishing relationships with many contractors in the years to come.
Since 2008, SS Steel has specialized in the Healthcare industry, completing many tenant improvement projects at many of the San Diego hospitals and healthcare facilities.
SS Steel has also remained very well rounded through this time, offering services to all types of projects, contractors, and homeowners. We are happy to tackle anything, from a one-off small bracket, to a $1,000,000 project.
